Small formal cabinet in ebony and stained wood with embroidery decoration. The lid opens to reveal a compartment with a mirror framed in embroidery, and the flap has four compartments revealing nine small drawer fronts. It opens to reveal four drawers and an upper mobile part concealing a secret drawer. Drawer fronts adorned with embroidery in Bayeux (??) throw and stitch with large silver threads, depicting birds or fantastical animals. Antwerp or France Late Louis XIII period, second half of the 17th century. H. 33 cm - W. 44.5 cm - D. 24.5 cm - (wear and tear, minor accidents and minor alterations?)
