PENDULE portique with subject: "Le temple de l'Amour et de la Fidélité" ("The Temple of Love and Fidelity"), in gilt bronze with glossy and amatie patinas, with light ringed columns, doves on an altar surrounded by clouds, garlands of flowers, dragons, on the base a drapery with the legend "Le temple de l'Amour et de la Fidélité" ("The Temple of Love and Fidelity"), at the top a love sitting on a dog. Round enameled dial with Roman numerals and Arabic numerals for the quarters. Wire suspension. Directoire or Empire period. H. 51.5 cm - W. 25 cm - D. 15.7 cm (small hole in love's hand).
