A curved chest of drawers opening on all sides to two drawers without a crosspiece, in violet and rosewood marquetry with gironné decoration in the center and interlacing in the spandrels, top in red, gray and white Pyrenean marble, gilded bronze ornamentation. Stamped P. ROUSSEL and J.M.E. on a crosspiece. Louis XV period, third third of the 18th century. H. 88.3 cm - W. 134.1 cm - D. 63 cm (veneering accidents and missing parts, lifting, minor restorations. One lock missing). Pierre ROUSSEL (1723-1782) received master's degree in Paris in 1745. J.M.E. control mark of the jury of Parisian carpenters and cabinetmakers.
