FRANCE. Non-commissioned officer's saber model 1882, brass, watermarked leather spindle, steel blade with back, gutters, one cutting edge then two towards the tip, remainder of engraving on back. Leather scabbard with brass fittings. Total length: 88.2 cm - Blade length: 74.4 cm (twisted quillon, oxidation, worn blade with small chips, cracked scabbard).
