60 bottles AOC Limoux TOQUES & CLOCHERS - Clocher SAINT-SERN - Lot 55
60 bottles AOC Limoux TOQUES & CLOCHERS - Clocher SAINT-SERNIN (Winegrower Lara Andujar and David Calvet, Haute-Vallée terroir) Tasting notes: Eye: pale yellow colour, brilliant, limpid. Nose: on the freshness with citrus notes, rather on lemon, grapefruit with also floral notes giving complexity and finesse to the whole. Palate: nice attack, the wine is fresh. We find the citrus notes of the olfaction with a hint of minerality (flint). The wine is fine and balanced. The finish is long and fresh with a lemony persistence and some spices, and a touch of minerality. Winegrower : The Calvet family has been living in the hamlet of Saint-Sernin since the 17th century. Originally, there were meadows and a few vines. In 1988, when David and Lara's father inherited the estate from their grandfather, they began the first clearings to shape the current vineyard. In 1997, David settled on the family estate with his father's 25 ha and his uncle's 17 ha. In 2003, David created a GAEC with his sister Lara. Together, they continue the work initiated by their ancestors.
