60 bottles AOC Limoux TOQUES & CLOCHERS - Clocher SAINT-MART - Lot 29
60 bottles AOC Limoux TOQUES & CLOCHERS - Clocher SAINT-MARTIN Limoux (Winegrower Lucette Pradier, Autan terroir) Tasting notes: Eye: pale yellow robe, brilliant, limpid. Nose: quite intense with citrus notes like lemon as well as floral notes, rather white flowers like acacia flower. Palate: good attack, fresh wine, where the lemony side comes out quickly with a small hint of vanilla. Rather long finish on the acidulous side. Winegrower: Jean Pradier, a native of Mazerolles du Razes and son of farmers, was not predisposed to become a Limoux winegrower. Admitted to the Limoux college in 1945, he joined the teaching profession for 38 years. But his marriage to Lucette changed his life as a teacher. Lucette is the daughter of a winegrower who built the Bel Air winegrowing estate, near Limoux, in reference to "the winds we see coming from far away". In 1963, Jean Pradier's father-in-law asserted his milking rights and passed on to them the Bel Air estate with its 6 hectares of vines. A new life began, combining the work of a teacher with that of a winegrower, increasing the surface area of the estate from 6 to 13 hectares. A forerunner, he implanted one of the first parcels of chardonnay in 1972, which is today the vine that represents the Bell Tower of Saint Martin. In the image of the Patron Saint of his Bell Tower, symbol of sharing, Mr and Mrs Pradier will share their passion for the vine with you.
